I've always had an affinity for stationery. I remember running errands with my mom as a child, and searching for the greeting card section in each store that had one. The illustrations inspired me, and I would read every card marked "funny." My mom always knew to find me in the card aisle.

Years later, my love for stationery is still strong, and has withstood the test of time. As a graphic designer, I noticed a lot of friends and family approaching me for invitations (wedding, anniversaries, birthdays, event details, etc.) I was always happy to help, but realized how much I enjoyed these side projects and dreamed about starting my own stationery business. I knew that if I started a business, I wanted to:
• provide the best customer service, like old-time great service—treat my clients like royalty
• design stationery that I loved and was passionate about—which led me to the cohesive theme of stationery with a vintage flair
• and have an outlet for my obsessive attention to detail and my creative spirit—ensuring that all of my stationery has a refined, delicate feel with a hint of whimsy.

These characteristics related back to a nostalgic story I heard about a very special girl who played the role of a princess in a play who was so delicate and refined, she was like a plume to the wind. Her namesake: Princess Plume to the Wind.
